Manage Lead Alerts for Your Property Website

2 min read Making Changes

Lead alerts help you follow up when someone contacts you through a QwikVid property website. Check both the listing's agent details and your profile settings when an alert is missing.

Where lead alerts go

Contact-form emails go to the agent email addresses saved on the listing. Text delivery also depends on the listing owner's Text Alerts setting and the phone numbers associated with the listing and profile. Updating a profile email alone does not correct an old agent email on a listing.

Turn text alerts on or off

  1. Sign in and open your profile.
  2. Check your Cell Phone number.
  3. Under Notifications, set Text Alerts to your preferred setting.
  4. Choose Save Changes, wait for confirmation, then reopen the profile to check the saved setting.

Stop unwanted alerts

Turn Text Alerts off in your profile and save. If a message includes unsubscribe instructions, follow those instructions for that sender as well. Turning off texts does not remove the listing's agent email addresses or stop its contact-form emails.

Restart alerts after an opt-out

Turn Text Alerts on and save. A previous messaging opt-out may still prevent delivery; use the instructions from the messaging sender or contact QwikVid for help checking the delivery status. Avoid repeatedly submitting the same inquiry to test delivery.

If an alert does not arrive

  • Email missing: open the order from your projects, verify the listing's agent email addresses, and check spam, junk and inbox rules.
  • Email arrived but no text: verify Text Alerts and the mobile number on the profile that owns the listing, along with the listing's agent phone numbers. Check blocked senders and any earlier opt-out.
  • The wrong person received it: check both agent entries on the listing, especially if the listing was copied or reassigned.
  • Neither arrived: confirm that the visitor submitted the property site's contact form successfully. A Facebook or other portal inquiry is a separate channel.

Delivery times vary; there is no guaranteed number of seconds. Carrier message and data rates may apply.

What to send support

Include the order number, public property URL, approximate submission time and whether email, text or both are missing. Share the affected recipient privately with support. Do not send passwords or access codes.
